The thing is if a fire does happen and it gets close to your house it is going to be burned up with how close those trees are. It’s like living on a river or by the ocean. Floods and hurricanes happen a lot you just have to hope it doesn’t happen to where you are.
But, Houses can survive floods and hurricanes. If you house gets hit by a forest fire it’s done.
It’s kind of a big controversy because a lot of forest fire fighters don’t like the idea of going in and trying to save people who are knowingly building there house in areas that are prone to forest fires.
